UPDATE!

Ok it has been 2 months since I updated! It is just not fair for my 6 followers and please accept my deepest apologies. A lot and I mean a lot has been going on here. Since June I have had some video projects including an instructional swim lesson video DVD. I am working with the head coach from West Chester and recorded two full weeks of three sessions to get the entire process of teaching your child how to swim. The DVDs will begin with the incoming swim lesson teachers to watch and learn from. Hopefully we can get it to take off and sell many more. I landed a job at West Chester University as the Information Technology Technician in the video production studio. We do a lot of stuff here and had some time after hours to mess around with the new Canon 5D Mark II we got. We created this video and originally received 4,000 views in one night but had to take it down due to leaving WCU's name in it. I reposted and lost all the views but here it is. Be sure to check it out until the end to see part 2.

While at West Chester I had the pleasure to meet and work with Molly Nece. You can check her out at http://mollysunshinegroup.com/
She is a very inspirational person and I am in the middle of helping her create a promotional video for her business. This is just one of several typography videos I will be doing for her. When I sent it over to her she responded with this:
you ROCK!!!! and LOVE IT!!
And also,
"From Ty, our 6 year old's mouth, "WOW!!!" No kidding... that's exactly what he said."

Hmm what else have I been doing this summer...
I put together a timelapse reel of most of my timelapses from the past year. I don't exactly love doing timelapses, I only love watching them. They can be pretty tricky and I am still learning.

While at West Chester in the first month of employment I was supposed to create a Distance Education Video for our CIO and Vice President of Information Services! This is what I came up with within a month.

From a more technical side I was able to get the Technicolor Cinestyle Picture Style on my Canon 60D. In this video, Alex did a great job of being talent but I also shot a couple seconds with and without the picture style. I just did some basic color correction and have yet to use it for bigger projects such as a Michael Cameron music video.

I will definitely be using this picture style in this upcoming music video due to the dynamic range difference and control you get within post.
I am very excited to start shooting this music video. We are taking our time to plan all the shots out and everything. We are looking to shoot with the 5D Mark II and my Canon 60D for the 60fps. We will be shooting this to his song 'Crash'
Definitely check him out and definitely stay tuned for this music video because I can't describe how excited I am to kill this project. We are starting an entire new name and company for this music video. We plan on working with Michael Cameron for a series of music videos to follow.
Check his MixTape out here

If you have any cool names for our new company please leave a comment.
I guess that is about it! Thanks for reading and watching.

Joe
